Industrial and technical actors equate higher adoption with lower risk. Your brain is seeing a higher price and equating it with higher risk. The perspective is to consider how yourself vs how industrial and technical sectors evaluate risk. I don't think this way of reasoning is entirely unwarranted, but I can offer a perspective to put this into context and a technique than you can apply. I think the cognitive bias of "Anchoring" explains this, but I'd imagine there's a more specific one too. I think that could pay off in the long run: Every Miota is a good Miota ![]() I for myself try to overcome this, in my eyes, thinking error and now take a monthly fixed sum and invest it simply painless further without paying much attention to the exact price. However, the mere fact that I have already bought MIOTAS at much lower prices makes it difficult for me to continue buying at prices around $1.50. ![]() In fact, it would probably be much easier for me to invest at a price of $5 per MIOTA if I were just learning about this wonderful technology. It doesn't really make sense because even if I were to invest now and a MIOTA was worth $10 in the next 2 years, which is a rather conservative estimate for many here, it would be an absolutely super investment. Still, I find it very hard to continue investing because I know that last week or month I would have gotten many times more MIOTAs for it. The problem I have in mind is this: I am very sure that the current IOTA price is well below the actual market potential. I mean we have one of the most rational crypto communities here and yet some, including me, seem to have problems to continue investing when prices are rising. I am currently noticing this again with IOTA. I'm always concerned with the question of how rational people can make investment decisions in the first place. Further, unlike blockchain architecture, IOTA has no separation between users and validators (miners / stakers) rather, validation is an intrinsic property of using the ledger, thus avoiding centralization. ![]() Scaling limitations have been removed, since throughput grows in conjunction with activity the more activity, the more transactions can be processed & the faster the network. ![]() IOTA uniquely offers zero-fee transactions & no fixed limit on how many transactions can be confirmed per second. The IOTA Tangle is a quantum-resistant Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG), whose digital currency ' iota' has a fixed money supply with zero inflationary cost. IOTA is an open-source distributed ledger protocol launched in 2015 that goes 'beyond blockchain' through its core invention of the blockless ‘Tangle’.
